Inert Gas Fire Suppression System

Technical Specifications

Aurex Inert Gas systems are designed to detect & suppress fire automatically. The system uses naturally occurring gases like Nitrogen, Argon & Carbon Dioxide. The inert gas is stored in high pressure PESO/CE approved cylinders in gaseous form. In event of fire, the gas is discharged from the cylinder through a manifold, pressure regulator, piping and nozzles.

Key System Features

100% Environmentally Friendly naturally occurring gases
Safe for occupied areas with no risk of chemical toxicity
Electrically non-conductive, perfect for electronic equipment
Leaves zero residue, preventing secondary damage to assets
Flexible storage pressure options (up to 300 Bar) for layout efficiency
Highly reliable automatic or manual system actuation

Operation Details

Upon fire detection, the electrical cum manual actuator releases the high-pressure gas. The pressure regulator ensures that the gas flow is controlled to a safe working pressure before it enters the discharge pipe and flows into the protected area via specialized distribution nozzles, dropping oxygen levels to a point where fire cannot be sustained.

Typical Applications

Inert Gas Fire Suppression Systems are ideally suited for protecting high-value assets and occupied environments where water, foam, or dry chemical powder might cause catastrophic damage to electrical systems or critical documents.
